The Edinburgh Business School MBA programme was launched in 1990 after 15 years of research and development. Today it is considered as one of the world’s most successful MBA offering academic rigour and real world applications. The course modules were developed by leading faculty with international teaching, consultancy and research experience from major business schools from Europe and North America, including London Business School, INSEAD and Stanford University.As an approved learning partner of the Edinburgh Business School, The City College offers the following modular MBA programme. |

| Admission Requirements | |
|
A first or second class Honours degree from a recognised institution or equivalent is the standard academic entry qualification. Applicants who do not have a first degree may still be admitted onto the MBA programme, but they will not be officially registered with the Edinburgh Business School until they have passed the Postgraduate Certificate stage. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate competence in English if it is not their first language. | |
| Assessment | |

Each module is assessed through a rigorous 3 hour final examination (held in June and December). Students are permitted a maximum of two examination attempts for each module. At the discretion of the Edinburgh Business School students may be allowed more than two attempts.

| Graduations | |
|
The MBA degree is awarded by Heriot-Watt University. The University holds graduation ceremonies in Edinburgh twice a year – in July and November.
