Application & Admissions Procedure
 

How to apply for admission
Before you apply for admission, please ensure that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of admission, paying particular attention to the refund policy of the college.
 

You are also required to sign the declaration on the application form before you submit it to the college.

You must also provide with your application form:

a)  A copy of qualifications held (examination result slips, educational certificates, degrees, etc.) as well as

     letters from past and present employers confirming work experience (if applicable).

b)  One passport size photograph.

c)  A remittance of £100 (one hundred pounds) as admission fee to cover administration costs. If your application is

    not accepted the admission fee will be returned to you. All applications receive our immediate attention

    and you should hear from us about the outcome of your application within a short period of time.


UK and European Union Students
When sending your documents as described above please state who will be responsible for the payment of your fees. If you expect your Local Education Authority (LEA) to pay your fees, please ensure that The City College and the course of your choice meet LEA requirements before you submit your application for admission.

International Students applying from abroad
The procedure outlined above should be followed. Once your application has been accepted, you will have the three following options to pay the required fees/deposit so that a Letter of Acceptance for visa purposes can be issued to you by the college.

 

Option 1

A deposit representing 50% of the first year's tuition fees plus the registration fee of £100. If you are refused a visa, you will receive a refund of the amount paid apart from the sum of £100 , which is not refundable. (Please refer to clause 8 in the terms and conditions of admission).

 

Option 2

Full tuition fees for the first year of your study. If you are refused a visa, you will receive a refund of the amount paid apart from the sum of £50 , which is not refundable. (Please refer to clause 8 in the terms and conditions of admission).



International Students already in the UK
You can apply by post or in person, following the procedure described above. If you require a letter from the College to extend your visa, you are strongly advised to pay your fees in full in advance.
