The Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) is an independent public body set
up under the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, and is led by Immigration Services Commissioner Suzanne McCarthy.
The City College Advisers fulfill the requirements of good practice.
The City College is a member of UKCOSA. The Council for International Education provides advice and information to international students studying in the UK and to staff who work with them. All UK universities and most colleges of further and higher education with international students are members of UKCOSA, which also receives funding from the UK Government's Department for Education and Skills. Information and advice to students is free.
