Our Facilities

Established in 1979, The City College is an independent institution for local and international students. Over the years thousands of students have successfully completed their studies at The City College and have progressed to higher studies in British and American Universities or secured successful careers in a variety of fields.

The common room occupies a large area on the 2nd floor, and is equipped with vending machines that provide a variety of refreshments. A microwave and a fridge are available for students who wish to bring their own food. Students can also meet and relax with friends, play pool or just watch television. The notice boards in this room show any college and local activities, as well as details of various trips/outings available on weekends, either within the UK or Europe.

Three computer suites, equipped with modern computers, are available to all students – not just those pursuing computer courses. Students are encouraged to research via the Internet and produce assignments and projects using computers. All computers are connected to the Internet and students may also have their own free e-mail facility.

The City College library facilities are for reference purposes only, but there are other public and specialist libraries within the vicinity of the college that students have access to. Students may require an introductory letter or a student ID from the college in order to be able to use these libraries. In addition to the library offered by the City College, students are also encouraged to research online
